BSBC Updates
Blue Survey sheets -- Please do not throw away... Some of you did not turn in the survey sheets for varied reasons. Please do so ASAP. Your input is needed. We will have a few extra blank surveys available this evening at BSBC. Do you need one emailed to you? Contact Linda at lindar@bsbcok.org. Thanks to all you participated in the "town hall" discussion. We had lots of good input and discussion from many people. The table discussions were lively.
Mother's Day -- This Sunday, May 11. She is worth extra attention. Have you prayed for your mom recently, that she would grow in a love for the Lord? Have you thanked her for showing the Lord to you? I am also praying today for many of you who will struggle because of Mother's day... various hurts, pain, gaps, disappointments, even bitterness. Only the Lord our Healer can fully apply His healing balm to our hearts.
Sunday Morning Space Issues -- Note from the Pastor: "I commend those with willingness to be flexible during our "space crunch". Meeting in other buildings, parking farther away, scooting to the middle of the pew. By the way, do you see someone you do not know? YOU be the first to say HI and introduce yourself. You be the first to greet a guest."
Sunfest Booth volunteers needed -- SUNFEST is June 6-8 at Sooner Park. Our church will have 2 ministry booths; one is FaithRiders, and the other is the VBS Children's Promotional Booth. Extra help is needed for the VBS promo booth during Sunfest. Please see the sign up sheet with time slots available. Thank you in advance.
BSBC Luau, May 25 at 6 PM -- May 25 at 6 PM. After not having it last year, you asked for the Luau to return. After 4-5 years , this has become one of the BSBC favorites. Mark your calendar. More details coming later.
Madison Property Tent Celebration -- Rescheduled for June 1st.
